For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to draw. I would spend my time in class doodling rabbits and horses all over my notebooks. My family is full of creative individuals and they would always encourage me and challenge me to do better; to try new compositions and ideas and to expand myself expressions. Over the years changes in my life inspired me to try different forms of art which led me into children's illustrations. Throughout my life, my art supplies were always within reach so I could grab them when inspiration hit. And every year my supplies grew with gifts from my brother and my daughter. Recently a longtime friend, Rodney Clark, announced he was opening an art gallery and encouraged me to be part of it. With his guidance and ideas, he gave me the added push I needed to put myself and my artwork out into the world. As more friends learned of my artwork and talent, the love and encouragement was rewarding in and of itself. With a renewed enthusiasm, I more than happily jumped in and immersed myself in new works of art. My friends and family have noticed how happy this makes me as I am always talking about my craft with a broad smile on my face. I like to mix up my mediums and along with pencil drawings I also use charcoal, colored pencils, black ink, acrylics, oils and pastels. But my favorite medium to use is watercolor. Please feel free to look through my collection and ask me anything you want. If there is something you would like to commission from me, don't hesitate to ask. I will be more than happy to create an incredible work or art that you will love and cherish.
